Creating a data source based on a SaaS service integration

How to create integrations with SaaS services

If you are using SaaS services as data sources, create an integration. This function allows you to transmit and refresh your data automatically. Only users with the Owner or Developer role can create such integrations.

You can create an integration with a SaaS service (such as Pipedrive, Jira, or Google Ads) in the Analytics section in one of the following ways:

  • Go to the Data Sources tab and click Data Source. Select Create New Team Integration in the modal window.

  • Go to the Integrations tab and click App or Database.

The next steps in the process of creating an integration depend on the Saas service you use.

Note
You can make changes to the created integrations. To do this, click on the title on the Integrations tab and refresh the data, rename or delete the integration.

After adding an integration, you can create data sources based on it.

How to create a data source based on a Saas service integration

  1. Go to the Data Sources tab and click Data Source.
  1. Select the integration you want to build a data source on, then select a dataset.
Note
Cloud Service Integrations have prebuilt data sources that cannot be edited.

After the data source based on integration with the SaaS service is created, you can proceed to create a report.

Data sources based on integrations are visible only for the author, but they can be shared using the Add collaborators command in the context menu.
