Working with chart filters
Filters are an important feature that let you choose the information you want to include in your data analysis and display on the chart.

You can specify the following filters:
Filter by dimension of string or territory type
- Click the
Add a filter button and choose the desired dimension of a string or territory type. - Select the filter type:
Select - Put ticks in front of the elements you want to display in the chart. Use the search tool if needed.
- By default, the selected items are included in the list. If you want to exclude the selected items and keep all the others, click the gear icon and select
Exclude . - Click
Done .
Wildcard - Select a type from the drop-down list.
- Enter a value in the

- Select a type from the drop-down list.
Ranking - Select from the drop-down list which dimension elements you want to include — top or bottom.
- Enter the number of items.
- Select the measure to calculate and the type of aggregation.
- By default, the selected items are included in the list. If you want to exclude the selected items and keep all the others, click the gear icon and select
Exclude . - Click
Done .

Filter by measure
- Click the
Add a filter button and choose the desired measure and its aggregation type. - Use the gear icon to manage the selection settings. Specify if you want to apply the filter to aggregated values or raw data.
- Select the desired filter type from the drop-down list.
- Enter the filter value in the bottom field.

Another option is the Date - Index filtering. This is helpful If you want to get specific information like your staff performance for an exact month of the year for several years, or the sales of your product on Mondays:
