Glossary

Bundle
A set of several items that are sold as a single unit.
Game keys
A unique combination of numbers and letters used by:
  • users to activate a game
  • game developers to protect data from illegal copying
One key activates one game on a specific platform (re-activation is not possible).
Game keys package
A set of game keys for a specific version of the game.
Game keys attribute
Characteristics of a game keys package. You can use this to provide additional information about the game.
Example:
  • game type — new, early access, demo
  • genre — action, adventures, casual
SKU
The unique ID of the game key package that should be specified in the Publisher Account when setting up the sale of game keys. Used to determine which game key package the user is buying.
DLC
Downloadable game content released separately from the base game. Example: new missions, locations, or appearance of a game character.

Integration flow

Follow the steps below to integrate the Buy Button:

  1. Create a project.
  2. Create game key packages.
  3. Set up selling game keys.
  4. Set up webhooks (optional).
