Management via Publisher Account

The following functionality of the Login product is available to you in your Publisher Account.

Creating project

You can create a project in Publisher Account to:

  • Integrate Xsolla products to your game. Each game or service is presented as a separate project.
  • Split localization in your game.
  • Split the payment methods in your game.

The method of creating a project depends on whether you already signed up for Publisher Account. Follow the steps to create a project for:

For unregistered account

  1. Sign up to Publisher Account.
  2. In the side menu, click Create project.

  1. If you have a game site on any platform, select Yes and do the following:
    1. Enter a link to your game on any platform (optional).
    2. Enter your project name in English.

  1. If you don’t have a game site on any platform, select No and do the following:
    1. Enter your project name in English.
    2. Enter a link to your game (optional).

Note
After you’ve created the project, you can add additional languages and localized project names in the Project Settings section.

  1. Leave additional information about your game so that we can offer you the best solutions based on your needs (optional):
    1. Choose the platforms where the game is (or will be) published.
    2. Choose your game engine.
    3. Choose the monetization methods you use or plan to use if your game is not already released.
    4. If the game has already been released, check the Game is already released box.
    5. Specify the release date if your game is not already released.
  2. Click Create project and go to the Xsolla solutions recommended for you.

For registered account

Possible ways to create a project:

  • Quick setup — to create a project with preconfigured Xsolla products.
  • Manual setup — to create a project with manual configuration of Xsolla products.

Quick setup

  1. Go to Publisher Account and click the + icon in the Projects section.
  2. Select Quick setup.
  3. Add the game link from the game platform. For example: https://store.steampowered.com/app/606880/GreedFall.
  4. Select the Xsolla products you want to integrate.
  5. Click Create.

Note

Preconfiguration is performed based on the game data taken from the link:

  • Image.
  • Description.
  • Prices on items (game keys, virtual items, virtual currency, bundles, and promotions).
Getting information on virtual items is only possible for games hosted on Steam.

Preconfiguration includes:

  • connecting modules when choosing Buy Button and In-Game Store
  • creating a launcher when choosing Launcher
  • creating a site without publication when choosing Site Builder
  • creating a program without publication when choosing Partner Network
During quick setup, the Login, Pay Station and Anti-fraud products will also be integrated.

Manual setup

  1. Go to Publisher Account and click the + icon in the Projects section.
  2. Select Manual setup.
  3. Select project languages. English is set by default.
  4. Add project name for all specified languages.
  5. Add the game website (optional).
  6. Click Create.

User authentication

To set up features related to user authentication:

  1. Open your project in Publisher Account.
  2. Click Login in the side menu and go to Login projects > your Login project.

  1. Set up which method of user authentication to use:

Use passwordless login via phone number

  1. Go to General settings.
  2. In the Authentication block, set the Use passwordless login via phone toggle to On.
  3. Click Save changes.

Note
If you use custom storage, you’ll also need to specify Passwordless login with phone URL.

Use login via social networks

  1. Go to Social connections.
  2. Set up necessary social networks.

Note
You have the following social network options to choose from for authentication:
  • Your own application. When connecting a social network, you need to enter your application data.
  • Xsolla Login application. When connecting a social network, leave the fields empty.

Use login via social networks only

  1. Go to General settings.
  2. In the Authentication block:
  3. Click Save changes.
  4. Set up necessary social networks.

Working with users

  1. Open your project in Publisher Account.
  2. Click Login in the side menu and go to Login projects > your Login project > Users.

  1. Available features:
    1. To export the list of users to a CSV file, click Export users.
    2. To block the user, click Ban in the user settings.
    3. To create or change a user group, click Manage user groups.
    4. To edit the user information, click View profile in the user settings.
    5. To resend a user account confirmation email:
      1. Click View profile in the user settings. The User profile modal window will open.
      2. In the Primary email block, click Resend email confirmation.

Displaying authentication statistics

  1. Open your project in Publisher Account.
  2. Click Login in the side menu and go to Login projects > Statistics.

Login widget

To customize the Login widget UI, use the instruction for the Login widget 2.0 or for the previous version of Login widget.
