Age restrictions

Age restrictions are not set by default. If needed, you can set them up in your project for the selected Login method. Xsolla stores data on users’ date of birth, so registered users would avoid entering their date of birth each time they sign in.

If you set age restrictions, users provide their date of birth via an input field in the widget when they sign up.

To set up age restrictions:

  1. Open your project in Publisher Account.
  2. In the side menu, click Login.
  3. Click Configure in the Login project pane.
  4. Add an input field for collecting users’ date of birth to the widget:
    1. Go to the User database > Supplementary user information section.
    2. Click Birthdate in the list of fields for additional user information collection.
    3. If needed, make entering their date of birth required. To do so, click the icon next to the Birthdate field.
    4. Click Save changes.
  5. Go back to the Login project page.
  6. Go to the Legal settings > Age restrictions section.
  7. Enter Minimum required age valid for users from all countries.
  8. If needed, enter Age restrictions for specific countries.
  9. Click Save changes.

Note
When you change the Login method, age restrictions settings are applied to the new method.
