Glossary
User
An individual receiving payouts.
Merchant
A company on whose platform a user sells their items.
Merchant platform
The platform where a user displays and sells their items.
Payment widget
An application via which a user requests withdrawals from a merchant. A payment widget is embedded in a merchant platform site.
User balance
The total amount of sales of a particular user’s items. The user balance determines the maximum amount a user can withdraw. This information is stored on the Xsolla side.
Merchant balance
The total amount of all sales of all user’s items via the merchant platform. This information is stored on the Xsolla side.
Provider
An organization that provides payment services and facilitates the processing of online transactions. Merchants choose their own providers for their platforms.

You can manage user balances without completing the whole integration flow. To do so, refer to these instructions.
To integrate a payment widget:
- Register in Xsolla Publisher Account.
- Create a project and pass the validation procedure.
- Enable receiving an authorization token.
- Set up payment widget displaying.
- Enable customer balance change.
