Xsolla Partner Ecosystem
Xsolla Partner Ecosystem is a marketplace of gaming industry third-party vendors and services that can improve and innovate Xsolla solutions and provide additional value to game developers. The marketplace is available to game developers who work with Xsolla via Publisher Account.
Partners who join the Ecosystem can access Xsolla resources such as revenue sharing referral agreements, co-marketing, and technical integrations. This allows partners to attract game developers who work with Xsolla to their product or service and reduce costs for lead generation. Also, partnership with Xsolla, as one of the leading platforms for in-game payments, can increase the partner’s brand recognition.
Requirements
To join the Xsolla Partner Ecosystem, you must meet the following criteria:
- Serve or specialize in the gaming industry.
- Don’t compete with Xsolla solutions.
- Provide three references from customers in the gaming industry.
Partnership tiers
On the marketplace, vendors and services are divided into the following collections depending on partnership tier:
- Strategic Partners — basic partnership tier for partners who haven’t yet been verified by Xsolla, don’t have simplified integration with Xsolla solutions, and are not engaged in the Xsolla referral program.
- Pre-Integrated Solutions — vendors and services that are pre-integrated with Xsolla solutions and simplify game development and monetization, or solve other business tasks, allowing developers to focus on creating games.
- Verified Vendors — partners that have gone through Xsolla vendor verification process, including reference checks, and basic legal and compliance review.
- Preferred Partners — partners that are engaged in the Xsolla referral program in some capacity or provide a special discount on their product or service for game developers who work with Xsolla. Such partners are actively promoted by Xsolla on the marketplace and beyond.
After validating the partnership application, Xsolla adds all partners that meet the above requirements to the marketplace. The partner gets access to their profile and can provide information about their product or service, for example, by adding:
- game development stages and platforms the product or service specializes in
- use cases for the product or service
- relevant videos
Once the partner meets the general requirements, they can move up to a higher tier of partnership with Xsolla and gain access to additional benefits.

Partnership engagement flow
Regardless of the partners’ goals and tier, all partners are required to complete a standardized engagement process. This ensures the availability of accurate records of the partnership from the outset. Xsolla provides multiple integration pathways tailored to each partner’s readiness, shared objectives, and alignment with Xsolla product priorities.
The standardized engagement flow consists of the following steps:
- Application. Fill out a partnership intake form. Make sure you meet all the requirements and can confirm your eligibility. This step is required even if you don’t want to create an Ecosystem marketplace profile.
The intake form is used for several purposes:
- to collect new partnership requests
- to obtain details for creating an Ecosystem marketplace profile
- to keep track of partnerships which have not completed onboarding
If your partnership is already in progress, contact your Xsolla partnership manager to verify if you need to submit the intake form. It might be necessary to continue your partnership engagements at some stages.
- Onboarding. This step includes signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and aligning with Xsolla on partnership goals, such as referral participation, technical collaboration, co-marketing, or other opportunities.
- Defining partnership opportunities. This step includes evaluation of applicable partnership models through technical reviews, discussions, compliance checks, product meetings, etc. The duration of this assessment phase may vary based on the complexity of the engagement and the level of leadership support. Possible partnership opportunities:
- marketplace profile
- co-marketing or sponsorship
- referral program
- technical integrations
- mergers and acquisitions
- Signing agreements. Agreements with Xsolla may be signed in stages to enable action on specific parts of the partnership. You can also add addendums to previously signed agreements to formalize additional partnership aspects. The most common agreements are:
- Referral agreement — defines terms for shared lead generation through Xsolla Ecosystem.
- Co-marketing agreement — defines joint promotional activities, campaign timelines, and shared marketing responsibilities.
- Technical integration agreement — specifies integration scope, technical milestones, and resource allocation.
- Mergers and acquisitions agreement — defines roles, responsibilities, and expectations for joint ventures.
- Grow with Xsolla. Access resources, collaborate, become a Verified Vendor or Preferred Partner, and promote yourselves across the Xsolla Partner Ecosystem.
