Creator Account

Creator Account is an application that allows creators to join programs, request payouts, and manage their data.

Registration and authorization flows

To join the programs and receive payouts, the creator must register or log in to Creator Account using one of the social networks (YouTube, Twitch) or via email and password. The latter method is available if you have invited a creator to the program. You can learn more about this feature in the How to invite creators to program section. For a creator to be able to register in Creator Account, they must have at least 50 subscribers on their channel in the social network.

Interaction with programs

The main page of Creator Account contains a list of programs that are available to the creator. Other information that’s included there are available platforms, Revenue share, geo-targeting (program distribution region) for each program. All programs available for the creator are displayed on the Discover tab.

All programs the creator has joined are displayed on the Your programs tab.

The creator can use filters to find a specific program.

To learn more about the program, the creator needs to click Details in the row of the selected program.

Program card

The program card contains the following information:

  • program ID
  • platform
  • business model
  • program expiration date
  • special terms
  • genre
  • game description
  • promo materials
  • tracking link for promoting the game
  • game key
  • section with apps
  • discount promo code

To join the program, the creator needs to click the corresponding button.

Statistics

To find out how effective the creator’s participation in the program is, they can look at the following statistics:

  • Leads — the number of unique users who followed the tracking link.
  • Conversion — the percentage of users who followed the tracking link and made a purchase.
  • Profit — money earned by the creator for joining in the program.

The creator can see the statistic dashboards in the Statistics section.

Wallet

The creator can manage their money balance and payment data in the Wallet section.

The following functions are available in the wallet:

Withdrawing money

To withdraw money from the balance, the creator needs to click the corresponding button. This action is only available after completing the Tax interview.

Selecting and setting up the payout method

To withdraw available money, the creator needs to set up one of the available payout methods in the corresponding section:

  • PayPal. Required details to enter:
    • name
    • surname
    • email
    • account holder address
  • Wire transfer (US). Required details to enter:
    • account holder name
    • bank name
    • bank address
    • account number
    • account holder address
  • Wire transfer (international). Required details to enter:
    • account holder name
    • bank name
    • bank address
    • bank country
    • account currency
    • account number
    • bank’s SWIFT/BIC or another national ID
    • IBAN or another country specific account ID
    • account holder address

Tax interview

Passing a tax interview is a must for a creator before they can receive payouts. To start the process, the creator must click the corresponding button on the Tax interview tab.

Tax interview consists of 6 steps:

  • start
  • profile
  • consents
  • status
  • review
  • sign & submit

The Tax interview status can take the following values:

  • Complete — the Tax interview was passed. The creator has the option to withdraw money.
  • Incomplete — the Tax interview was not passed.
  • Validation — the Tax interview is under validation by the Xsolla legal team.
  • Invalid — the Tax interview didn’t pass validation. The creator will receive an email containing the reasons for the refusal.
  • Updates required — the Tax interview needs some updates. The creator will receive an email with a request to revise the Tax interview.

Checking the transaction history

To check the list of all transactions, the creator needs to open the Transaction history tab. Both credit and withdrawals are available for viewing.

The creator can find the required transaction using filters or download the entire list using the CSV button.

Account settings

In the account settings, the creator can edit the following data:

  • avatar
  • name
  • personal description
  • email
  • password
  • app language

To open the account settings, the creator needs to click the profile icon, go to Settings and open the Account settings tab.

Social accounts

The creator can connect channels from additional social networks to their accounts:

  • YouTube
  • Twitch

Connecting multiple social networks allows the creator to accept an invite to the program via one account. To connect social networks to their account, the creator needs to click the profile icon, go to Settings > Social accounts and click Connect in the block of the desired social network.

Notifications

The creator can subscribe to the following email notifications:

  • notifications about new programs
  • weekly digest of new & noteworthy programs

To subscribe to the email newsletters, the creator needs to click on the profile icon, go to Settings > Notifications and set the switch to On next to the desired newsletter.

Applications

To make the program promotion more effective, the creator can connect additional functions in their account:

  • Purchase alerts allow the creator to show messages about purchases made by their viewers during the stream, motivate them to follow tracking links and make more purchases. This feature is provided by Streamlabs service.
  • Chatbot allows the creator to increase their income by regularly sending tracking links to the stream chat. This feature is available for the Twitch platform.

To connect the app, the creator needs to click the profile icon, go to Settings > Applications and follow the instructions in the interface.

Tutorials and missions

Tutorials are the list of interactive videos that an creator can use to get acquainted with the Partner Network key features.

Missions are the list of tasks for which the creator can receive money. After completing all missions, the creator becomes an Xsolla Trusted Creator. You can share unique bonuses with such creators. For more information on this feature, see the Xsolla Trusted Ccreators section.

To go to tutorials or missions, the creator needs to click on the profile icon and open the corresponding tab.

To comply with legal requirements, before using the application or joining the programs, the creator must review the following documents:

Privacy Policy is a document that describes personal data processing, as well as the rights and obligations of the business and the user. The link to the document is indicated in the footer of Creator Account, as well as in the modal window when registering in the application.

Terms of Use is a document that defines the rules of using Xsolla Partner Network. The link to the document is indicated in the footer of Creator Account, as well as in the modal window when registering in the application.

Referral Agreement is an agreement between an creator and Xsolla, which defines their rights and obligations toward each other when the creator performs his activities and the general procedure for receiving remuneration. The link to the document is indicated in the footer of Creator Account, as well as in the modal window when registering in the application.

Cookie consent is necessary to provide the creator with personalized advertising content. The link to the document is indicated in the banner on the registration page. If the creator doesn’t click Accept/Decline, the banner is displayed on all other pages in Creator Account.

General consent is necessary to sign an agreement with Xsolla. The link to the document is indicated on the registration page.

Participation guidelines include additional requirements, instructions and recommendations, which the creator must read before joining the program. The conditions for participation can be either individual for each program, or absent. For more information about this document, see the Participation guidelines section.
