How to customize emails to users

You can customize the appearance and content of emails with receipts sent to users after successful purchase. A user receives an email in a language that is identified when the Pay Station UI is opened. By default, the standard email template is used:

To customize emails in your project in Publisher Account, go to Pay Station > Settings > Customization > Customize emails. You can:

Note
You cannot customize the Purchase confirmation email section.
Notice
After publishing, you cannot go back to using the standard email template.

Add image

Note
When you change an image, the change is applied to emails in all available languages.
  1. Hold the pointer over the default image and click Set image.
  2. In the Images section, click Upload image.
  3. Choose and upload an image via a device.
  4. Choose an uploaded image in the Images section.
  5. Click Publish and confirm your action.

By default, when you open the customization mode, all available sections are included in the email customization template. If you don’t want to include an image in an email:

  1. Click the Purchase confirmation section.
  2. Click the trash can icon in the upper right corner of the Header image section.

After publishing, users will start receiving customized emails.

Add header and preheader

Note
Changes to text applies to emails in the selected language.
  1. Choose the email language.
  2. Click the header or the preheader to make changes to the text.
  3. Click Publish and confirm your action.

By default, when you open the customization mode, all available sections are included in the email customization template. If you don’t want to display a preheader:

  1. Click the Purchase confirmation section.
  2. Click the trash can icon in the upper right corner of the Text block section. The preheader will be deleted in all available languages.

After publishing, users will start receiving customized emails.

Add social networks

Note
Social networks settings apply to emails in all available languages.
  1. Click the Purchase confirmation section.
  2. In the Socials section, set the toggles next to the social networks you want to display in an email.
  3. Click on the link icon next to social networks names and enter your profile URL address.
  4. Click Publish and confirm your action.
Note
If you add a social network without entering your profile URL address, the icon for that social network will not be clickable in the email.
By default, when you open the customization mode, all available sections are included in the email customization template. If you don’t want to display links to social networks:
  1. Click the Purchase confirmation section.
  2. Click the trash can icon in the upper right corner of the Socials section.

After publishing, users will start receiving customized emails.

Change main colors and roundness of email elements

Note
Changing main colors and roundness of email elements applies to emails in all available languages.
  1. Go to Global theme > Main colors and choose colors for each email element, including text, button and page tint colors.
  2. In the Global theme section, adjust the roundness of the text box and social network icons by dragging the slider to the left or right.
  3. Click Publish and confirm your action.

After publishing, users will start receiving customized emails.
